He was a bit of an ahole when i met him in the early 90's but just chalked it up to

him being an arrogant athlete

Im sure hes nice to kids but try being an adult who has a young kid and you

are trying to get his autograph for your kid’s b-day. He was rude as hell even though I thanked him several times for the autograph and told him who it was for.

by Brad E on Sep 16, 2011 4:36 PM CDT reply actions

yep. Hit .302 in April, and .263 in July…He’s under .200 in May, June, August, and September. His OPS is under .500 in all of those months too.

WHAT???????

Ball hit foul down third base line. CJ tried to glove it as it bounced foul. Third base umpire may have been blocked by CJ – calls it fair and Cubs winning run scored

JD corectly noted it was not the third base umpire’s call , but the home pate umpire’s call because the ball was only halfway to third.

Meanwhile the home plate umpire quickly walked off the field

Yet another way to lose a game!!!!!!!!!!

by Joe in Birmingham on Sep 16, 2011 5:21 PM CDT reply actions

Well can't really blame it on the umpire even though they got the call wrong.

CJ should have let that ball go right on by. He had no chance to make the play.
