Wow, I'm not even getting the game on WGN.
They’re showing Walker, Texas Ranger. And freaking FSSW has something about U of H.

There was bound to be something to come up with him...
Even the guys we think are clean-cut have skeletons in the closet.
He was a bit of an ahole when i met him in the early 90's but just chalked it up to
him being an arrogant athlete
"This is a simple game, you throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the the ball, you got it?!"
Im sure hes nice to kids but try being an adult who has a young kid and you
are trying to get his autograph for your kid’s b-day. He was rude as hell even though I thanked him several times for the autograph and told him who it was for.
"This is a simple game, you throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the the ball, you got it?!"
Bagwell cheated on his first wife with his current wife
Now he is cheating on this wife with the Brown lady.
Once a cheater always a cheater
"This is a simple game, you throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the the ball, you got it?!"
Bagwell's wife filed for divorce in Sept. of last year. They were not
divorced when the alleged relationship/affair started
"This is a simple game, you throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the the ball, you got it?!"
hm?
What’s he saying?

you can gauge the excitement of the game
when Brownie and JD are discussing the possibility that the flags in the CF poles are on the wrong poles.
Well, this game thread is BOOMING!
Did they say something about the game not being televised tomorrow?

I missed their comments
but MLB.TV lists the game as broadcast on TV and radio

"Drink in the Curse of the Working Class'
was once modified to read
“Work is the Curse of the Drinking Class”
Today
“Work is the Curse of the Baseball Fan”
I just found a second to check in on the game and it is already the bottom of the eighth inning. Astros trail 3-1.

Two homeruns (and all the team's RBIs) in one game is impressive
even if he used a popsickle stick

Game over. Astros lose 4-3. I HATE THE CUBS!!
"This is a simple game, you throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the the ball, you got it?!"
Tough call to end the game
Look like it was going foul, but impossible to see if it hit Johnson’s glove in fair or foul ground.
WHAT???????
Ball hit foul down third base line. CJ tried to glove it as it bounced foul. Third base umpire may have been blocked by CJ – calls it fair and Cubs winning run scored
JD corectly noted it was not the third base umpire’s call , but the home pate umpire’s call because the ball was only halfway to third.
Meanwhile the home plate umpire quickly walked off the field
Yet another way to lose a game!!!!!!!!!!

Well can't really blame it on the umpire even though they got the call wrong.
CJ should have let that ball go right on by. He had no chance to make the play.
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
He screwed up, yes
But one bad play does not a horrible player make.

The Astros ought to be still giving Johnson opportunities in order to find out what his role is in the future. The odds are pretty decent that Paredes will turn out to be a flash in the pan. CJ may still be in the mix for 3d base next year.
