Astros Trade Jeff Keppinger to Giants
According to Alyson Footer on twitter, the Giants have acquired Jeff Keppinger from the Houston Astros for right-handed pitchers Henry Sosa and Jason Stoffel. I guess hitting Keppinger in the 3 spot for 2 games really helped a lot. I don't know much about these arms so feel free to comment and tell everyone how you feel about this deal. I thought the Astros would try to get that Tim guy that they have, I hear he's a pretty good pitcher.

New Pitching Prospects
Henry Sosa is a relatively young Domincan right handed starter. (25) He has played very average in the minors. He projects as a back of the rotation starter. However, in 2011 in AAA hes been getting blasted an ERA over 10 right now.
Jason Stoffel however is a really good releif pitcher. His career ERA is under 4 and career K’s per 9 is at 10. He has good strikeout ability and could be a future setup man or even closer. He is only 21, but may still be 2 years away from the majors as he works on a secondary pitch. Could compete for a bullpen spot in spring training.
