Reallignment, Trades and other things up for dicussion

Baseball is a sport of history, of honor and of respect.  It is a game that should be held in a place of honor.  So where am I going with this nonsense...

Reallignment:  there shouldn't need to be a discussion of where a team should end up in major league baseball; what league and division a team will be playing in.  I understand that teams have been added and a total now of 30 teams play america's pasttime.  The rules, though, at this time are different, so the fight does have to rage.  The National League in my opinion is correct in keeping the game as pure as possible.  Why can't a pitcher hit, isn't he an athelete just like the rest of the players?  Didn't he play when he was young and learn how to pitch AND hit?  Before reallignment, lets gets the rules straight and lets start with NO DH allowed.

Rivalries?  MLB is talking about reallignment and moving the Astros to the AL so that they can have a rivalry with the Rangers and have said this would be a natural rivalry, an in-state rivalry.  I want an in-state World Series not an in state rivalry.  Let the Astros go back to the NL West and gain the rivalry they had with the Dodgers.  Then MLB could move a team from the NL West to the AL West:  Arizona or Colorado.

Here's my plan:

NL West:  Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, San Fransisco Giants, San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamonbacks

NL Central:  St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs

NL East:  NY Mets, Atlanta Braves, Washington Nationals, Philadelphia Phillies and Florida Marlins

AL West:  Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Anaheim Angels, Colorado Rockies and Oakland Athletics

AL Central:  Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins and Kansas City Royals

AL East:  NY Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays

Thoughts?

Question of the day:  Ed Wade calls and asks for your opinion on how to get this Astros team back to the top - what is your answer?
