Kody Hinze needs to be promoted...period! Anyway you slice his statistics, any kind of splits, his OPS is still over 1.000! That is ridiculous. I know, I know, he's hitting in Lancaster, but in fact, he's hitting better on the road. The California League actually has a few parks that are pitcher friendly, so he's mashing everywhere. Sure, at home, the park is helping his numbers probably, but the guy has a history of hitting for power. Jimmy Van Ostrand is hitting quite well in AA, but he's a non prospect and shouldn't be blocking Hinze. Hinze is quite old and probably doesn't have a future in Houston with Wallace holding down the fort, but lets build up his trade value or something.
