Being an Astro fan should come with a warning label:
Ignore April and May.
The starters and relief pitchers continue their string of games in which the trade off being good or bad. Today it was Bud Norris who usually dominates the Cardinals but today not so much. He allowed 5 earned runs in 5 innings pitched, striking out 4 and walking 3. His ERA jumped from 3.42 to 3.93.
The offense didn't help either, at least before the offense was scoring runs, now it appears the Astros offense has come back to earth scoring only 4 runs in the last three games.
Not much else to discuss about this game unless you want to talk about the tremendous diving catch by Lance Berkman in right field, I cried a little inside. Unfortunately for him it appears he tweaked his wrist and was removed from the game after the inning was over.
Anyways saw some people questioning their fandom in the game thread tonight, which leads me to post this video:
It'll get better.
