Photos from my trip to Astros spring training this last weekend. Once again the whole experience was awesome. Got to see Tigers @ Astros and Yankees @ Astros. Would've been nice to have won a game, but the weather, the stadium food and talking to players made it a whole lot of fun. My biggest first-hand takeaway is that Hunter Pence is becoming a real leader and face of this team. He's a great guy (takes the time to sign autographs and talk to the fans), but he genuinely cares about winning - he kept coming out of the locker room after he left the Yankees game to check on who was getting on base, what the score was, etc. I know it's probably gonna be a tough season, but I'm excited as always.
