Yep, west coast game

I was thinking maybe a lot of college football fans. It couldn’t be that the regulars have social lives could it?
/kidding
Maybe CFB, not a fan myself
Social life? Ugh, I heard it’s overrated.

Me too
I thought the game started an hour later than it did.
I watchded most of the Longhorns -Owls game. – lost interest halfway through the third quarter.
I watched a litee lof the TCU-Oregon State game.

Bud
gets ahead on most hitters but doesn’t manage to put them away. And his pitch count suffers as a result of that too.

BAAAH!
Put Bud in the bullpen where he belongs.
Well, at least
he limited the damage. Arizona could have blown the game wide open right here.

Heh 1 pitch out for Bud
He could use about a dozen more of those if he plans on making it deep into the game.

Arizona keeps getting runners to third
It was a lead off triple in the fourth
In the fifth it was a double and a sac fly.
Runner did not score in the fourth.
Hoping for the best in the fifth

Cubs won again
8-2 since Piniela rode off into the sunset.
If Astros don’t pick things up, Cubs may catch them in the standings in a week or so

ugh
Had to watch Brad Lidge close out the 9th. Brewers managed to hit 4 HRs off of Halladay. Some poor play at the plate by a couple rookies was the difference. The race for the all important 3rd place remains tight.
and the Cubbies could be joining the fray soon

wow…I’m getting this play by play through your posts. I have to go run an errand though. I may listen on the radio in the car.
Gosh - I should be giving more detail
instead of eating greasy nachos.
Carlos Lee’s homerun was a boomer to left field – at least six rows up.
Carlos has been productive tonight – with four RBIs. He knocked in one earlier- maybe the Astros first run of the game

Did anybody see Carlos right before they went to commerical break?
He pretty clearly yelled, “That’s f’n BS!” to somebody right after entering the dugout.
I couldn’t tell who he was saying it to or if they were in or outside the dugout but he seemed to mean it.
I wonder who he was talking to?
(cont.)
he had just gone down the steps and given a few high fives then turned around and yelled it. He went from all smiles to serious-looking.
Brad Mills walked over and told Carlos
he was through for the night ( I just watched the replay of the inning)

The only thing I can think of is this was Chicano Night (or something like that). I didn’t see that as political. My guess it is something held every year, like Chicano Night at the Houston Rodeo.
