Lance Berkman took out Alex Rodriguez  in battng practice today (Saturday August 7).  This will not endear Lance to the Yankees faithful.

Lance was extensively interviewed about it. Said Lance, "I had a great view of it."

Jeter tried to make light of it.

But apparently A-Rod was in a lot of  pain.

Berkman batting right handed hit  a line drive that caught A-Rod on the lower part of a shin and bruised it . Tests are being taken to be sure it is nothing worse. A-Rod was taken out of today's line up.
