The Crawfish Boxes Official Fantasy Baseball League
Another year, another chance to play fantasy baseball with the guys here at TCB. This season, we've got an added wrinkle. The fine people over at CBSSports.com have graciously given us a free league from their Fantasy Baseball Commissioner product.
I tell you this for two reasons. First, we're looking for six good members to fill out the league. Have you ever wanted to play against Stephen, Evan and me? To prove you're a better GM than Ed Wade? Here's your chance. Use this post to tell us why you should be in the league (in a sentence or less). We'll choose six of you and post about the league once a week until the season starts.
The second point I wanted to make was that if you're creating a league of your own, SB Nation worked out a deal with CBSSports.com to give the users here a 50 percent discount on this product, the web’s most powerful league manager that won 8 out of 9 Fantasy Sports Trade Association Awards for "Best Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League Management Product"
If you haven't used it before, the Commissioner leagues at CBSSports.com are entirely customizeable. And I mean entirely. You can create your own stats to track. You can set up divisions, set your own schedule, basically set anything you want. I've been commissioner of many fantasy leagues in the past on different sites around the web. With this, I had more options to customize the league than I had seen before.
Some other key features?
- LIVE scoring & stats so you can follow along as your teams rack up points
- Keeper league capability to carry on the tradition for many seasons to come
- Expert analysis provides up-to-date information on all players & teams
- Live chat/league messenger to trash talk with your competition
- 14-Day Free Trial included
That last point is important for any of you who are considering where to host a league. If you follow this link, you will get 50 percent off the Commissioner league price.
Again, if you're interested in joining our TCB league, post your reason here AND send me an email so that I can send you an invite once we've made selections (and spambots won't steal your address from the thread). We'll keep you updated on the selection process and will announce the league's members on Monday.
Until then, enjoy more spring training baseball! I heard Hunter Pence might hit .500 with 120 home runs this season. Is that true?
CBSSports.com is an SB Nation partner and paying sponsor of the SB Nation baseball communities. This post is one of a series of sponsor endorsed posts related to the CBSSports.com Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League.

I want in
I’ve won my league 4 years in a row and I’m looking for better competition than the dumbasses around the office (no offense, guys).

I just want say up front
That I look forward to all your congratulations when I win.

A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I just want to say up front
That I look forward to becoming a repeat champion.
This is also my reasoning as to why I should be selected. Also, why just 6 people?
Looking for a new challenge
I’m an active manager, a repeat fantasy champion, and an experienced player in almost any league format you can think of. Bring it!
Put me in, coach.
10 year player/commish veteran looking to prove that I’ve still got what it takes to hang on in the bigs.
Also, I’m rocking the team name “Bud Norris Facts” on ESPN Page 2’s Fan X League. So, I’m kind of a Big Deal.
It's David's ballgame
But I like you for the Anchor Man reference.

Pick me..pick me...
Any opportunity to match your wits with fellow Houston Astros fans is a challenge I would love to accept. I could throw in some movie quotes from Step Brothers if that helps…
"I've never gone into a game trying to win the Heisman Trophy; I go into a game trying to win." - Colt McCoy
I'm ready to play....today.....
As last year’s AL Crawfish Boxes League Champion, I must be allowed to defend my title as team Lancealot. Even though I lost in the “World Series,” I was still able to overcome the loss of Matt Holliday and Cliff Lee due to cross-league trading and win the AL league.
My fantasy baseball experience goes back into the 90’s when Ryan Klesko was one of the best fantasy firstbasemen, and my friends still continue to try to dethrone me in our local 10yr-league.
