Astros extend Wade's contract through 2012

I know that there are a lot of Wade haters out there, so I'm probably in the minority when I say that I don't mind it in the least. I have never thought that Wade was the problem, and I believe that Drayton forced him into trading for Tejada, and probably some of his more questionable moves. Wade is entering his third full season as the Astros GM after eight with the Phillies.

King Edward is the only reason this team isn’t worse than the Pirates and Royals. After Timmy “Ther Perp” Purpura dismantled this organization, it’s amazing we win any games.
