Astros Weekly(?) Winter League Recap

First off, my apologies for not getting one of these up last Monday.  Things have been pretty busy over the past several weeks.  And, I won't be getting one up next Monday either.  I will be taking a trip to see my family this weekend so I'll be out of commission this coming weekend.  This update will be the past two weeks to make up for last week.

In case you missed it, Saturday was the AFL Championship in which the Javelinas were a participant.  I didn't know it was on TV until I got home from work and was flipping through trying to find a decent college football game to watch and found it.  It was the fourth inning and I recorded the rest of it and will watch it to see if any of our boys got to play.  Kyle Greenwalt pitched the first three innings, but I obviously missed them.  If there's anything worth mentioning from the remainder of the game, I'll write something for Wednesday.

Jason Bourgeois?

This is the first im hearing on Jason playing winter ball! Im very excited to see him playing well though. Im really hoping he makes the team out of spring training, he has great speed in the outfield and on the bases. Also excited to see Anderson playing so well. I guess im his lone fan but I saw him hit for a little power during the season just didn’t get lucky with the balls falling. David Carpenter also surprised me! 2IP=6 outs and the boy had 5 strike outs…the ability is there.
