Back to Back walk-off Home Runs

Stay connected for news and updates

Top draft picks are expected to have an impact on a regular basis, but tonight is definitely above and beyond any draft day dreams.

Shortly before 9 pm(Central time), Jiovanni Mier, the first round pick of the 2009 draft, blasted a two-run walk-off home run for Greeneville.  The tenth-inning hit ended Greeneville's six-game losing streak.

About an hour later, Collin DeLome gave the crowd at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi with a walk-off solo shot in the ninth inning.  DeLome was the highest pick the Astros signed from the 2007 draft.
