Valverde Claimed On Waivers (Then Pulled Back)

PrintJose Valverde was claimed on waivers and pulled back, reports FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi.
Valverde, an impending free agent, has 17 saves out of 21 opportunities on the year and an ERA near 1.00 since the All-Star Break, meaning he will have plenty of demand on the free agent market. If the Astros had let Valverde go, they would have missed out on two draft picks as Valverde is a Type A free agent. Source: FOX Sports
Well thats the 2nd player the stros pulled back after Tejada.
