All Good Things Must Come to an End; Astros lose to Mets, 10-3
Ugly game tonight. Russ Ortiz had a rough go of things, and Chad Paronto doesn't need to be on a major league pitching mound. Hopefully Chris Sampson can return from the DL tomorrow, and Paronto can head back to Round Rock.
Let's not get down about one loss, K?
This should make us all feel better:
Battle of soft tossing righties tomorrow! Woot!

This doesnt discourage me too much
I had been getting extremely frustrated that we clawed within an inch of the divisional lead to stall there as St Louis and Chicago strung together wins at our same pace, but the fact that the Cards lost as well and we’re still only a game and a half out takes the sting out of this loss.
Lose again in our next game, though, and I wont be particularly pleased, regardless of the outcomes of any other team’s games.
he was injured. injured bad.

keep winning
As long as we keep winning series, 1 bad game here and there is o.k. but they really have to win today and then win at least 2of 3 from both cubs and cards and i’ll be ecstatic!

Cubs series is four games
A 2-2 split may be a positive outcome. (though 3-1 makes me happier)

Jeff Francoeur on Saturday's game
“We haven’t had a game like this in a long time, where you just kind of cruise and you don’t have to worry about too much at the end of the game,” Francoeur said.
