Jeremy Johnson to Korea
According to the Astros website 27 year old righty Jeremy Johnson had his contract purchased from the Astros by the LG Twins of South Korea. ThJohnson had a 5-8 record with a 3.51 ERA in 21 games, including 13 starts, for Triple-A Round Rock this season. Johnson was originally signed by Houston as a Minor League free agent on Dec. 30, 2008. In 10 minor league seasons hes 62-47 with a 4.13 ERA. I guess its not really a big deal since it clears up some space to move up some younger guys if need be.

With Johnson’s departure to Korea the Astros called up Hooks closer T.J. Burton to Round Rock and the Hooks activated reliever Evan Englebrook from the DL to replace Burton. Good to see Burton get his shot in AAA with the Express. He has been nails for the Hooks as of late. Good luck to all.

Hopefully we'll see more moves like this soon
clearing out the old guys and quad-A players so that we don’t have guys like Locke tearing it up at AA when he should be in Round Rock and Gaston waiting to get his shot at Corpus.
He replace Rick Bauer.
Official salary 0.11M
maybe he’ll start on this week.
LG Twins has another foreign player.
He is Roberto Petagine.
