Fernando Nieve and his surprisingly hot start (2.95 ERA, but 1.50 WHIP and a 4.84 FIP) have been cut short--he's been placed on the 15-day DL. New York papers looked like they were playing down the seriousness of it, but MLB.com calls it a muscle tear in the right thigh. It's at least a 6-week rehab.
