Wow...
Shelley Duncan just swung at a pitch that rode up and almost hit him in the face. Sick rising action on that 4 seamer from Bud.
Bazardo is up now
First Batter, quick first-pitch ground out.
Second batter, Kratz, gets the first hit of the game, a 2-bagger down the 3B line
Reid Brignac doubles with a flyball over the CF’s head. Announcers call it a good pitch, but a good piece of hitting, too. Run Scores.
Austin Jackson, hard hit groundball to 3B who has to really rocket the throw to 1B. 2 outs.
The next guy (someone from a Reds affiliate) hits a no doubter 2-run HR to left field.
New pitcher. And that’s it for your farmstros.
The guy from the Reds....Drew Stubbs!
Even Bazardo’s ground balls were pretty hard-hit.
I don’t know what ballfield this is, but I like their park. A tall, Ivy and moss wall along the outfield…looks pretty cool. Not as nice as Corpus, but maybe better than Round Rock?
laughed
when i saw that…honestly, rather have him now over pudge prolly…

I nearly shot water out of my nose when I saw Munson at bat
The Crawfishboxes
A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Stubbs
The Astros drafted Stubbs a few years back but he didn’t get an offer he liked, so he went to the University of Texas instead.
supposedly the Astros made him an offer which was acceptable, but McLane wouldn’t agree to it after Selig complained….at least, that is the story that Richard Justice has told in the past.
