it's gonna cost us games
especially interleague. That play Michaels misplayed yesterday happened about 6 times in the PIT/MN series to PIT OF’s. They were like a circus out there losing balls in the roof and misplaying bounces,
Probably good for the city though. Metrodome is kind of a dump. We’ll miss the Loud though. Loudest stadium in baseball when the fans are into it.
Interesting
I thought about losing the roof advantage.

wait, wat
CF Metrodome camera is one of the best angles in baseball. Directly behind the pitcher.
Unless the away team’s camera is way different than the home coverage…
It's that angle
But it’s higher than our normal angle, and it’s throwing off my recognition of the zone.

I love this camera angle. You can see the strike zone a lot better. Plus, I enjoy seeing the movement on the fastballs better.

That's trouble for you guys
Delmon hasn’t hit a ball to normal outfield depth in a month. If he can put that kind of swing on a Moehler pitch, he’s not throwing so hot.

Hmm…I’m still having problems getting comment updates to show up. I continually see “waiting for ”http://www.13glam.com" target="_blank">www.13glam.com…" when I am in the game thread.
Wandy apparently got hit with a ball in BP again.
He really needs to watch out for that. Second time that’s happened.
Your friendly neighborhood Dreamshake mod.
he was also throwing to Arias in the outfield...
when Arias lost the ball and it hit his face. The pre-game practice isn’t a good time for Wandy.

Hard to tell. Looks like the call was right. But Jerry Lane throws Coop out of the game for some reason.

Berkman screwed up the rundown.
Lance you are supposed to know how to perform a rundown.
Kata didn’t work well on that either.
yeah,
but:
1) Mauer has a good arm
2) Baker’s been tough to run on, right?
3) Coop’s a fucking idiot.
Your friendly neighborhood Dreamshake mod.
1 is true, 2 is not that true, 3 i’ll take your word for it
idk that Baker is anything special at preventing sb’s, avg probably
I thought one of our announcers said he was tough to steal on
maybe that was last night about the other dude.
Your friendly neighborhood Dreamshake mod.
I just wish there were some way
to make Coop even marginally aware of the value of his outs. Maybe give him that run expectancy chart. Maybe let him have a chat with Earl Weaver or something. It’s just infuriating to watch him sac bunt at the top of the freaking order.
If he’s that concerned about Tejada grounding into double plays, then he needs to stop batting him in the 3-hole. Switch him with Pence or something. Christ.
Your friendly neighborhood Dreamshake mod.
I realized
that, in all my ranting about Cooper, he’s not actually the guy who ordered the sac bunt. He was ejected, after all.
Still, the point stands.
Your friendly neighborhood Dreamshake mod.
Pudge loops a really low pitch into right
And Pence scores from 2nd. Cuddyer drops the ball in the OF, but I don’t think it really mattered.

Michael Bourn
Wins the Most Improved Award
It looked like it dislodged another ball in whatever it hit
it looks like it's going to be a cool stadium, though
couldn’t they heat the field? I know the Patriots’ stadium does that, so surely a baseball field could do it. It would still suck for the fans, but they’d be able to play.
Oh, and from my very few experiences with real snow (living in Baltimore for two years as a kid, a trip to Boston in HS) I think I’m qualified to say that snow was created by the devil.

Your friendly neighborhood Dreamshake mod.
yes...
actually I think LAD’s rant against Cooper’s bunting occurred on a sac bunt after Coop was ejected. I thought about mentioning that at the time, but the rant was too good to detract from it. At the time, they the camera took a shot of Ed Romero, who I think was the temporary manager.
