Worried about Kevin Millwood actually being good this year and perhaps offering us a challenge, don't:  Millwood actually owns a tRA of 5.68 and a tRA* of 5.24.  My jaw is still dropped from the sizable gap between Millwood's ability and his ERA.  You can file this kind of gap under: Something's gotta give, and soon.  Hopefully tonight is that night as Wandy Rodriguez tries to stabilize and continue to not tip his curveball.

...Welcome back Kaz? See you in 15-days Geoff Blum.

I can only watch the game for awhile...

I have tennis match at 8 p.m.

I’m not sure how much I can contribute to the thread.

Bourn doubles.

Hit the ball between CF and LF. It looked like it would be single, but Bourn was smoothly and easily going to 2d.

Rangers with runners on 1st and 2d...

Wandy’s control isn’t good so far. The ump has squeezed him some…JD says Nelson, the ump, is contankerous and probably has a short fuse on hot nights.

Rangers score run a single to LF...

Erstad misplayed the ball which assured that the run would score.

OUR 7 and 8 HITTERS SUCK!!!

im in a real pissy move with my fantasy team after starting volstad vs BOS (had him benched then decided to give it a go) that combied with hamels not doing to well and wandy sucking it up and the ump sucking and Matsui back just makes me very mad…

Thanks Millwood

If you hadn’t potentially hurt yourself stabbing that ball, Pudge would have been out easily.

That was an interesting and insightful discussion

I wish JD would have addressed the question of how would not keeping track of individual pitcher’s wins and losses affect the starting pitchers outlook. Instead he shifted the topic to managerial decisions.

Completely unrelated topic: Dontrelle Willis

What happened to Dontrelle Willis? from Superstar with the Marlins to a 2-year disaster with Detroit.

Here’s the latest on his downhill slide:

Struggling Detroit pitcher Dontrelle Willis will not make his next scheduled start, manager Jim Leyland said Tuesday.

Willis walked eight in 3 2/3 innings in a loss at Pittsburgh on Sunday, and has walked 18 in 11 innings over his last three starts. He’s 1-4 with a 7.49 ERA in seven starts.
