Interesting to note that in 2008, the Astros drafted Tyson Van Winkle in the 39th round. Van Winkle chose to go back for his (redshirt) junior season at Gonzaga and really improved his draft stock. He was taken in the 10th round by the Diamondbacks.
Another 2008 Astros draftee, Mike Modica (46th round), chose to go back to George Mason University for his senior season. The Astros must like the guy because they re-drafted him this year in the 24th round.
