Houston Astros at Pittsburgh Pirates, May 30, 2009 6:05 PM CDT
Sorry guys, I've got a wedding to go to, so the line up won't be posted. I like this match up though, and maybe Wandy can go ahead and earn us a complete came shut out, thereby saving the bullpen further, and extending the Astros dominance further than Moehler could; not that Moehelr wasn't absolutely dominant last night, of course.

Brandon Backe had a bad debut in this game.
One of the few noteworthy aspects of the game. Backe gave up two runs in the 8th inning, and that came close to the difference between winning and losing, given the 9th inning comeback.
The Brandon Backe story this whole year
has been one filled with doubt and questions, from will he even make the opening day roster in spring training before he went on DL, to how good can he be if he pitched with such poor results in the minors rehab, to this. I missed this part of the game. it’s not something I wanted to read to start my Sunday.

One correction.
He actually pitched with good results overall in his minor league rehabs…even though I’m not sure if that is meaningful or not.
Longhorns - Boston College in 19th inning
11:15 Saturday night. I can’t get audio and gaemcast is primitive but it looks like Boston College is “home team” and battingwith 2 men on and 2 outs in the bottom of the nineteenth inning.
