Hey Drayton, Wade, and Coop! How does it feel to be in the cellar?
Well the gerriatric baseball player's club continues to suffer from osteoporosis and according to the latest, many of the players don't even trust or like Cooper anymore. Our farm system is nonexistant and we have a senile idiot for a team owner. We're 9-15 at home and our record is 18-25.
It's simple: Fire Wade and Cooper and hope that Drayton relinquishes his ownership of the team. Re-build the farm system and sign some young players and not members of the Acres Retirement Home Yacht Club to swing for us.
Pitiful.

terrible post...
…wat do you expect for a medicore roster playing in the toughest division in the NL??…how about u come up with some ideas on how to make the team better than just firing everyone…from what i see down on our single A clubs wade has helped to improve the farm system and probably will have a very good draft this year…the Astros have been pretty bad but thats mostly because our best Player has been terrible…if Pujols batted .230 all year i think the Cards would be down in the bottom too…If Lance batted just .290 this year we would probably be 1 or 2 games over .500…

True True
If Pujols batted .230…..wait, I don’t think he can. But if he did, the Cardinals would fail miserably.

It seems hard to imagine
Pujols hitting below .330 muchless .230. He’s a freak and I’ve come to accept the fact that he and only will dominate the Astros (and just about anyone else for that matter.)

goofy Drayton
Why is it that the man with money that compares with the Steinbrenners doesn’t want to spend a penny on another big arm. I think that peavy would be a great addition to the club and could spark the other pitchers.
Look at what they did when they went to the World Series….the marched out Oswalt, Clemons, Petitte, and Backe (when he was healthy). They had less of a lineup then, than they do now. Spend the coin and get another big arm to go with Oswalt.
If all it took to get Peavy was money
you might have an argument, but Peavy is under contract with the Padres, who would want a hearty return for his services. What do you propose we offer up for him?

oh, see that's irrelevant.
We’re in full-blown “talk radio mode” right now. Drayton somehow needs to both grab Peavy AND rebuild the farm system. It’s that simple.

you gotta be kidding?
where do they get their information? :)

You know what we need?
We need a code for posts like this. So if you’re a relatively infrequent commenter who hasn’t participated in the numerous discussions about what the Astros should be doing or whether or not Drayton/Coop/Wade is a good owner/manager/GM, you don’t have to make a post voicing your outrage. You can just say “5, 6, 11, 22” in a designated thread, a we’ll all know that you’re saying, “I’m frustrated by the current losing streak, we need more depth in the farm system but I have no idea how the Astros are going to do that, what the hell is going on with Lance?, and the beer in MMP is ridiculously overpriced.”
