ironic, considering that Cooper passed up a couple of obvious sac bunt opportunities...
in the last few games….and now his replacement calls for a sac bunt in a not so obvious situation.
the oddest part of that call...
is that Oswalt was left in the game. Was the sac bunt to set up Oswalt to take the RBI opportunity?

If you are planning to attend an Astros game
Buy a cheap ticket – there are plenty of good seats open for improvement. The actual attendance has been about half the announced paid attendance.
You can park within a block of the stadium for $5 – don’t think I’ve ever seen the prices that low.
Only games that have been crowded are Cubs and Cardinals – Astros fans seem to be outnumbered at those games.
It takes more than pitching to win a pennant, but not much!
Believe me...
Houston isnt the only stop at which home fans are outnumbered, it happens in San Diego.

Brewers 4 Astros 3 Final
One of the worst games I have ever seen as far as umpiring goes. Berkman would have sure been useful.
A Walk Is As Good As A Hit.
Frustrating game
I was way up in the cheap seats in right field, so I’m not gonna say that Berkman was safe, but he sure got tossed in a hurry and so did Coop. So early in a tight ballgame and a close play at the plate, you’d like to see the ump give a little more leeway to the best player on your team. Then putting Fulchino in to face Braun with two on and one out was a boneheaded move, in my opinion. Sampson didn’t do THAT much better two batters later, but I would have used him to face Braun, or just left Roy in to try to work out of it. Again, from way up in right, I can’t say that Roy wasn’t gassed or whatever, but in such an important spot, if you’re gonna go to your pen, you gotta bring in one of your big guns. That was a game we should have been able to win.
