just a reminder for those who don't know.

Chad Reineke is the minor leaguer whom the Astros traded to the Padres for Randy Wolf.

How'd the game go?

I was pretending to work and didn’t bother to look.

How’d Bud do?

Epress lost 2-0

One of those runs was on a steal of home plate. I listened to part of it, but tuned in after the scoring was already over. Yordany Ramirez popped out in foul territory with the bases loaded and two outs in the top of the 9th. Clutch hitting was non-existent in this game for Round Rock. Chris Johnson hasn’t played much AAA ball yet this year, but he sure is struggling to find his groove in the AB’s he’s gotten so far. He went 0-4, struck out twice, and twice left two men on base on his way back to the dugout. Norris went 5 IP with 5 K’s, 5 hits, and 2 BB.

Visit to the Diamond

I guess I’ll need to sit in on a few Express games coming up here in the next month to see what we have cooking in the minors.

- Yordany was hot last week and may be cooling off.
- That business with the Smith DFA head fake. (we couldn’t pull up any of the other minor leaguers?)
- ’Stros bullpen on the ropes
