Hampton gone - Geary in

Hope that’s just precautionary on Coop’s part.

It takes more than pitching to win a pennant, but not much!

well, he was up to 90 pitches

and he’s a bit injury prone, so I’d say it’s probably just precautionary.

why is Rasmus not in the lineup

I thought I saw him listed in the lineup on the STL newspaper site earlier today. has the broadcast said anything about it other than just now?

fairly predictable...

I just wondered if there was a change b/c of something

or if the STL paper just made a mistake w/ the lineup posting

I have yet to meet a person

in real life who uses that thing. I’m convinced it’s entirely a media-created phenomenon. I hadn’t even heard of the thing until the news talked about it.

but that's the thing

I’m in the internet’s key demographic: 20 year-old college student. By the time the media got around to talking about Facebook, everyone in my high school had had a profile for a long time. Just seems odd to me.

I'd say Twitter's primary demo right now

isn’t 20 something college students.

it really took off 2 years ago during SXSW, w/ a bunch of web 2.0 type people. there is obv some overlap among that crowd, but not entirely the same. it’s hit pretty big in political circles as well as media types (there are a few of the MLB.com writers on twitter)

A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
