BPro argued that, because the Cards have a rotation with so little strikeout potential, they couldn’t make up the lost defense no matter how well Schumaker hits.

so when I was younger, my old man used to take me to go watch Biggio and Bagwell play spring training, and I always liked them way more than the other ST teams I usually saw like Atlanta (bleh) and the Yankees(puke) and the Cards (barrfff).

didn’t really look surprised. he had a bad chance to catch and throw and so he short-hopped Pudge.
Pujols takes a lot of risks on the bases
I’d say that’s his major weakness. He got pretty lucky here. Hampton threw a lollipop to first and Berkman looked a little flatfooted. He should have been out easily
