USA started the second round of the WBC by losing 11-1 to Puerto Rico.  The game was stopped in the bottom of the seventh under the Mercy Rule. Jake Peavy started for USA. Puerto Rico led 6-0 after two innings. Pudge Rodriguez went 3 for 4 for Puerto   Rico. Carlos Beltran had a good night too (3 for 3 with homerun).   

It was like watching an Astros game.

Next up is the Netherlands, which lost to Venezuela, in an elimination game.
