A three year deal??? All the good faith I had in Wade after the Hawkins decision and good Lindstrom trade just went down the tubes.

Lyon is a fly ball pitcher with mediocre strikeout/walk rates. What is Ed Wade thinking? Unless he got a steal of a deal, three years is pretty dumb. Though I’ll wait until I see the price for final judgment…
The article says Lyon declined arb. Is he Type A or Type B?

I guess the defense is that Lyon is much younger than Hawk
*Side note, Lyon is “ok” but he has a really cool curveball. It’s a monster looper, fun to watch
