FanGraphs looks at Contact%, Strikeout Rates, Norris, and Paulino

Felipe has been getting a lot of love from FanGraphs lately, hasn't he?  Carson Cistulli at FanGraphs has decided to take a look at the strong correlation between Contact% and strikeout rates, and provided us with a list of the top ten starting pitchers by Contact percentage, Zone percentage, and First-Strike percentage.

Bud Norris and Felipe Paulino both show up in the top ten, and their expected strikeout percentage is higher even than their already-solid strikeout rates.

Cistulli also mentions some other things about Bud Norris, including his Zone percentage, which he says means Norris will "probably turn some of his walks into strikeouts".
