Chris Coste signs...with the Mets
In the immortal tradition of Rusty Staub and Fernando Nieve, Chris Coste is going from the Astros to the Mets. Not exactly groundbreaking news, but it becomes huge in a slow offseason for Houston.

The Mets only guarantee that he will be kept on the 40 man roster…but don’t guarantee that he will be on the 25 man roster.
Mets have been searching high and low for catching. Actually that seems like the case every off-season. You have to think that they will look for bigger fish than Coste.
