As I start watching in the 2d inning….Wandy is behind, 1-0.
Something bothering me is some kind of patch on the right shoulder of the Mets’ players. I’m not sure what it says (National League something…). The patch is blue and orange and looks like a Home Depot advertisement. When I first saw it, I thought maybe the Mets were the first MLB team to start selling ads on their uniforms, like a semi pro team.

"Inaugural Season 2009"
I presume that means Citi Field.
It’s too large and tacky.

definitely looks tacky when it’s on the uniform.

Clark emulating Cooper ?
After Byrdak struck out two batters after giving up the triple,
Clark pulls him from Gervacio.

0 for 4
I wonder if he has been disappointed with his stay in New York

I just remember
He wanted to play for a contender and choose the Mets (who were bad at the time) over the Astros (went to the WS his first year in NY)

4-1
Ball takes bad bounce over Matsui
Brocail not supportive as he barks out a lot of words and gives Mtasui dirty look

I don't understand pitcher decisions
Earlier Clark remvoed Byrdak after Byrdak struck out two consecutive batters.
Now he lets Doug Brocail ride out the innnig even though Mets are pounding him.

Wandy's ERA will be over 3
3.02 to be precise. God that has to be frustrating… one more scoreless IP and I think he would have made it in the 2’s.

What if he pitches one inning of relief on Sunday?

They should let him
It would be a classy move. Of course, it could backfire, but the damage is already done, so why not.
