The final 2 games of the Astros 161 game season.  Yes, 161 isn't a typo... with the Astros being eliminated form playoff contention, the Astros will not be playing the game on Monday against the Cubs...  I still think that's a sham and they should play it; but who am I?  If MLB/Drayton were worried about ticket sales and all of that for the 2 game series played at Miller Park, then they should want the income for the final game at MMP this season and make the Cubs fly down here and play it.  But that's not going to happen and the Astros are only going to play 161 games.

It's just a matter of pride

But Astros are in danger of being passed by Cardinals! Astros must win at least one of these Braves games -and it doesn’t look like they’ll win tonight

Cardinals lead early 2-0

Baseball is a funny game

Tejada hits a screaming grouder dwonthird abase line . Third baseman makes a diving catch, gets up and throws out Tejada at first.

Then Berkman strikes out on a bad pitch that goes to the backstop. Berkman reaches first on the strikeout. (He then steals second)

Upset Saturday in College Footall

It’ll be interesting to see how many teams drop out of the Top 25. Looks like Oklahoma will be # 1, LSU #2, Texas #3, and Alabama #4 come Monday. Everything else is up for grabs.

ASTROS lose 11-5

The last 7 innings weren’t bad, but oh those first two innings.

Cardinals are only a half game behind the Astros. I don’t like that.

I guess this game won't be worthless afterall.

It will solidify that the fact that Backe does not belong in the rotation next year. Imagine if we were still in contention and Backe gives up all those runs at the beginning of the game (again)
