Sorry about not getting the lineup in right away, I had a meeting at 5:30, and I was delaying writing the game thread as long as possible to get the lineup in. No matter- here it is. As I mentioned at 5:30, the Cubs beat the Brewers, let's get a W.

Check it out!

We’re winning! 1-0 after the top of the 1st on an RBI double by Berkman.

After one

A single, a double play and a strikeout, and Arias is through the 1st.

er..

There was a second single in there. But anyway, it’s 1-0 after 1.

It's raining in Miami

I’ll miss about 90 minutes of the game until about 8:15 so a short rain delay works for me. but they are playing through it. I guess as long as there isn’t any lightning ( no – wait – they play through that this year, too, as I recall)

Mets are winning 3-0 though.

Which is probably enough to beat the Nats.
2nd inning.

The Symbol of Astros Futility

Hunter Pence missed a relatively easy catch in right. He took his eye off the ball and it bounced off his glove. His first error of the season.

He shook his head in disbelief. I shook my head too.

My favorite part

was LaTroy’s reaction.

Shrug of the shoulders and a look that just said, “awww dammit.”

Mets & Phillies both win

Astros may be five games out after tonight.

Berkman 0 for 4 tonight

Is that 0 for his last 23 official at bats?

ASTROS LOSE 8-2

Not much to say. Marlins are a hot team. Astros aren’t . Maybe Astros can turn it around at Pittsburgh starting Friday night.

Wearing a t-shirt doesn't change anything.

Maybe they should get the players’ association to file a complaint if they’re actually angry about it.

All wearing a shirt does is make you look like a douche.
