Astros Lose 12-2, Welcome Back to Earth
Well, we lost... It's sad to see that we lost, but in all honestly... this was a game I kind of expected that we would lose. Brandon Webb is and has been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the last few seasons and it showed tonight as he went 8 innings and only allowed 2 runs. While listening to the first few innings of the game on the radio today, Dave Raymond(it could have been Brett Dolan... I always get them mixed up) said that Brandon Web has NEVER given up more than 3 runs in a SEASON to the Astros. That's a pretty crazy stat.
LIke I said before... so we lost... Even the biggest optimist towards the Astros season never expected us to win every game from here on out. We just have to avoid anything close to a losing streak and hopefully we'll come out on top.
The Astros only managed 5 hits tonight, and 3 of them came off the bat of Ty Wigginton(including a 6th inning home run).
That's about all I have to say about this game....

Never really thought we had a chance today...
Didn’t expect to win today. But I do think we can win the next two. The Brewers also lost today, so in the end, all we lost is a little bit of time. Two wins over the weekend and a series win from the Brewers Mon-Wed. will realistically put us in the wild card hunt. The Brewers series is gonna be big. That’s where we have to shine first to have a chance at the post season.
