Lee Nees Your Help : Vote to Put Him in the 2008 All-Star Game

Lee2008allstar_medium
Lee needs our help!  There is no limit to how many times you can vote this time!

Some players like to come off as nonchalant and somewhat disinterested in the whole All-Star phenomenon, but not Carlos Lee.

He really, really wants to be an All-Star -- and he's not ashamed to admit it. The affable Astros outfielder is one of five National League players up for the 2008 Monster All-Star Final Vote, and he's lobbying everyone -- friends, family, teammates and especially Astros fans -- to log on to MLB.com and vote, vote, vote.

While fans could only vote for the All-Star starters 25 times, there are no such limitations for Final Vote candidates. Voting is unlimited, and Lee is hoping the Houston fans will rally behind him and nab him that final spot on the NL roster

i was wondering about the unlimited voting

i must have voted 50 times yesterday, assuming eventually they’d tell me i’d reached my limit.

as of the first round of updates, Carlos was in last place in the voting. it’s unfortunate for him that the Astros won’t have any home games during the voting… oh, and that they’re sucking hogballs at the moment.

Blasphemy!

He’s not even that good.
And how did Ryan Braun get first place in the fan vote?
I smell a rat.

Wisconsin fans love their Brewers evidently

and keep voting for him.. Hart has been pretty good this season.. not as good as Lee, but still pretty good.

I’ve voted for Lee probably about 50 times
