My goodness, a two-run lead and we can't even get out of the stinkin' inning. That's unacceptable, and it won't happen again

Just Thinking

that Coop should stick to making promises he can keep. . . . .

Let's talk about something other than Tejada

i didn't want to sour on Coop

and i’m going to be steadfast in keeping an open mind, but a lot of things he’s done on the field and in front of a microphone have fallen short of leaving me impressed. it doesn’t help that i really, really like Scraps.

i do find his prolific use of the word “stinkin’” amusing. i’ll say that.

Maybe just a display of emotion.

But it’s hard to figure out what he means or how he plans to enforce his statement. Does that mean relievers get the death penalty if they give up the lead like that? Or does it mean he can somehow make Borkowski more effective? McTaggert’s blog in the Chronicle sarcastically suggested that maybe he only meant that no more pitchers will hit PH HRs against the Astros…..a pretty good bet since it had been 4 years since it happened last in the majors.

Someone at the 'Pit

suggested that somebody may wind up with a horse head in their bed?

Max Scherzer is all out of bubblegum.
