Tejada on E:60
I am sure someone else saw this. This just reeks of TMZ but the sports version - it was really a terrible display of journalism, I don't care what you feel about Miggy's truth or lies when it comes to Congress.
Call me a blind Astros fan... but at this point - I seriously doubt he is doing anything illegal CURRENTLY and look at his production. I am happy we have him, period. And I am also one of the baseball fans that is all about "let's get the F away from all this crap and look forward." Whether or not he did it, great - I am not thinking about it. I just think this E:60 crap was a terrible piece of journalism. Anyone else's thoughts?

I'm not watching it.
ESPN engaged in shoddy, sensationalistic so-called journalism. I won’t reward it with my viewership. Lying in order to out a “liar,” is that ironic or what? And I don’t really care about his age. That is no more my concern than if he lied to his wife. This is an issue between him and his employers. It didn’t affect the fans or hurt the game. And if ESPN is so concerned about misrepresenting age, why not talk about the large number of other players from the carribean who have done the same or who have yet to admit their correct age. The ESPN analysts used to joke about it with respect to other players. It was a laughing matter to them, rather than a serious issue.
Agreed.
ESPN are yellow journalistic ratings whores. I’m with you, ‘Stros fans.

My biggest thing...
is that you don’t ask a guy to talk about his background and then spring this on him with the cameras rolling. If you want to ask about his age, do it beforehand so he knows its coming.
That ambush tactic should really hurt them trying to get someone else to do any sort of interview for E:60.
