Good day today

I got home and found a UPS parcel. Inside was my 2008 Baseball Prospect Book from Sickels. Then I fired up the internet to see that the Astros TV schedule has been released.

I am going to get the MLB package again this year so I can watch any game from my computer, but it is great to know that I will be watching a real broadcast in less than a month. On March 3rd at noon the Stros face the Yanks and hopefully JD, B Brown, and Lucas are in fine form. It has been a long time coming and the wait is almost over.

As much as I hate what has become of my beloved Astros over the last 2 1/2 years the feeling I have today makes me realize that I will be a Stros fan forever and I really have a problem with my love of baseball.

How often was the broadcast
not the Astros broadcast last year on MLB.tv?  Living in the Dallas area, I know a bad broadcast team can ruin a game.

Just curious.

I didn't have MLB.TV
but from my experience with getting NHL Center ice.. it's about 50/50.

I'm pretty sure they only broadcast 1 version of each game to everyone, so that only makes sense that it would be the same for MLB.TV.

It really sucks having to listen to the team you're facing's announcers talk about how good the other team is.

Go 'Stros!

exactly
The times you get the home broadcast is in games that would be on in your market anyway. The other games you get are on in whatever opponent city and you get their broadcasters. I got 9 games last year instead of the 3 or 4 broadcast here. So last year the Astros broadcasters did 3 or 4 games and the other 5 0r 6 were the opponents. This is in Spring training only though.

sorry for that being confusing. Tough read.

I hope there are more games this year.

My first mistake was assuming you knew what I was talking about.
