New Manager for Round Rock Express
Marc Bombard will be the new manager for the Round Rock Express. He has a long list of minor league managing assignments going back to the late 80's. He was most recently manager in the Reds' minor league system. This will be his first time managing in the Pacific Coast League. I don't have a link yet, because I just saw it on the local Austin news station, which interviewed him at Dell Diamond. It was a typical interview without many surprising statements. But I did get the impression that he has a lot of experience.

Looks like he managed the Phillies’ AAA club during Ed Wade’s tenure there.

MMMMMM
Comfort in familiarity.
The Crawfishboxes
A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

It's all coming together...
Signing Hampton, trading for Bourn and Wolf, not letting Brocail leave… Drayton and Wade are looking for the security blanket of nostalgia in these troubling economic times.

in that press release..
We are leaving VSL??
We have a new team in GCL at Kissimmee with original VSL coaching stuff, but they don’t name new VSL stuff.
Dose it mean our Venezuelan pipeline finally collapsed after Andres Reiner left to TB with Hunsicker?
