Sheets to the Rangers?

The article claims a low base, incentive laden contract for Sheets is on the table. If this comes to fruition for the Rangers, but we balk on Sheets...I can't even think of something because my blood is already boiling.

We need good pitching.

Although I’m not sure if it’s Sheets.

However, the conventional wisdom arguing against Sheets for Houston was risk of injury and being saddled with a contract that we couldn’t get out of in the event of.

A “low base + incentives” contract mostly neutralizes that, so I would be pissed to learn the Rangers put out a contract like that and we didn’t.
