Doing so should push the Astros ahead of the Brewers and Cards, says Mr. Justice.

But what about the rest of the NL?

Oh Richard, when will you learn?

A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

The Astros could finish ahead of the Brewers and Cardinals just by re-signing Wolf.

Bring it on Justice!!!

Wow

Just when I thought Justice couldn’t get any stupider

Justice is right

And we should sign Mark Texiera, CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett. That’s the answer to everything, right? Just sign more free agents to ridiculous contracts.

Justice is full of shit. The Stros should be in rebuilding mode, not going after more elderly, expensive free agents.

Oh, this is your typical Justice "stir the pot" blog.

His main objective is to take some shots at McLane. And, actually, I was amused by some of the jabs he took at McLane. Some may be deserved, others may not. But I think the Pettitte-Wolf aspect of his article is a sidelight, maybe “pretext” is a better word, for attacking McLane’s management style.
