Good!
Those photos made me laugh.  And humor is the best thing during a losing streak like this.

Hey
We could still go 131-31 for the season.

We could also
go 21-141...

Which of these two is more likely?

Go 'Stros!

What the Astros need to do
The Astros have to get Biggs to 3000. Soon! Come on Craig!

Then they can start putting out their best lineups.

Ensberg and Scott need to get another shot. An extended period where they play everyday. And Gar needs to tell them that he will not pull them after a week if they don't hit. NO MORE PLATOON WITH THEM!!! If you want Lorreta in, then he has to play SS or road 2B till 3000.

Keep Lamb on the bench. I have said time and time again he can't play the field. He can't. I think it is taking away from his hitting.

Get rid of Palmeiro and Lane. This is a no-brainer. And bring back Brunt and Burke.

Get rid of Moehler. Like I said at the beginning of the season, It is pretty much a joke he is on any ML roster, let alone the Astros.

Trade Lidge before he gets hurt. This is the one player that has real value that can be traded. The Mets and Braves will be in a war throughout the season and the Braves already lost their set-up guy for over a year.

They need to see what they are going to do for the future. And winning either comes or it doesn't. By playing Scott and Ensberg it gives them both of those capabilities. They have the most potential and if they are able to keep their jobs that means the Astros will be hitting much better.

Also: The Jennings start was a fluke. Expect him to get hammered against a better team. He doesn't have any stuff right now and unless he can muster up more juice he is in for several beatings till he does.

Lidge
was fricking awesome tonight.  I was at the game and his stuff looked as good as ever.  I agree with most of what you say, but I guess I'm a Lidge lover and would like to see him stay.  But get Brunts and Burke back up and I'd be ecstatic.  And bye bye Moehler and maybe even White.

Sports talk radio
I swear the sports radio hosts in Houston say the same things I do.......but 2-4 weeks after I do.

I may be the smartest person about the Astros or the most delusional person. Is there a difference?
