They've gone with 12 pitchers.
Matt Albers, Fernando Nieve, Eric Bruntlett and Eric Munson have been optioned.
Brian Moehler will be in the bullpen and Chris Sampson is number five starter.
Sampson will evidently make his first start April 11 in Chicago, and I probably would have kept Bruntlett 'til then.
I guess it then comes down to Moehler over Nieve, and what can I say? Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. It's not as bad as if Moehler had been named fifth starter, but simply put, Nieve has a future in this organization, and Moehler does not.
