The problem last month...
was indeed the pitching.

Don't tell me otherwise. 162 RA in ANY month is horrible. Sure the run scoring wasn't so great either, but the pitching never gave the bats a chance. 5.4 RA/game?

You can't consistently expect even a good team to overcome that w/ run support on a consistant basis.

Can I just say...
I have an issue w/ a couple of things in this lineup. I'll give Gar a pass on the Willy T/Burkie issue for now because Willy's being effective in his current role and Chris' numbers are great.

That having been said, I do have copious issues w/ continuing to play Lamb and continuing to bench Lane. Especially considering how even if you take Lane's big game last Sunday out of the picture he's steal doing infinitely better than Lamb is at present.

I was going to write a lil rant earlier about how I think Lamb should get benched when Mo was back in the starting line-up and this is exactly why. It makes the team worse defensively (Jason's the best option in right, Lance the best at 1st) and offensively at this point.

Ah well, at least Mo's back in the lineup. Any bets as to how long it is before Mo gets his bearings again?

Or better yet, how long it is until one of our big boppers hits another HR? Been awhile for both Mo and Lance.
